Please Note the following:

  • Due to discontinuation of the source from which I was preparing the Daily Office readings, I looked for a source online and found a perfect match of the readings in www.satucket.com.  Going forward I will list their link which simplifies my work tremendously.  Also, there are links to both New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) as well as Revised Standard Version (RSV), so you have two choices of Bible translations to choose from! My selection will always be NRSV.
  • Also, please note that accordingly, the listing will start from Sunday to Saturday which is what I should have done all along.
  • Finally, please note that while Lectionary for Sundays is arranged in a cycle of three years, A, B and C, the Daily Office Lectionary is divided into two - years 1 and 2.  Currently we are in Year 1.

To help stave off and avoid further COVID-19 infections, please 1) keep social distance of at least 6 feet from anyone else, 2) don't touch your face while outside and 3) wash your hands as soon as you return home (I take a shower upon return from outside).  Additionally, always think about the possibility that YOU are infected without any symptoms and how you can prevent others from contracting through you.  This is always possible.  Let us all "love our neighbors as ourselves" and do our part to help prevent the further spread!

Readings for the Second Week of Easter (Year 1)

Please visit the following site for all the readings for this week:  https://canticlesandall.wordpress.com/calendar-20210411/

Ministry at the time of Coronavirus (Covid 19): Prevent, cure and accompany

Now we have to shape what some have started calling; The Church at Home. Although I keep asking myself; What do those who do not have a home do? For this reason, at the same time, I am declaring today in our Holyrood Church a Lenten day of prayer, fasting and reading the Bible in the Time of the Coronavirus.
