Saint Francis: The patron of animals

My dear Holyrood family of Santa Cruz.
Saint Francis is the patron of animals because according to tradition he had the gift of understanding animals and it was said that flocks of swallows kept flying in the form of a cross. The story of the fierce wolf that obeyed him when he asked him not to attack anyone else is also very famous.

In our holistic theology we recognize that animals are a gift from God and they help us in many ways because they are part of creation.

In honor of this blessed saint of the church, we will congregate on Sunday with our animals / pets to be blessed.

And remember that we have always been a friendly and hospitable Church also with our pets / animals.

We hope to see you Sunday with your pets / animals.

Ministry at the time of Coronavirus (Covid 19): Prevent, cure and accompany

Now we have to shape what some have started calling; The Church at Home. Although I keep asking myself; What do those who do not have a home do? For this reason, at the same time, I am declaring today in our Holyrood Church a Lenten day of prayer, fasting and reading the Bible in the Time of the Coronavirus.
