How is your trust in God today?

How is your trust in God today? Psalm 56: 3 says: When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

Trust is a state of mind that takes most of us a significant amount of time to develop but is easily broken with words and actions. With trust being so hard to develop between people, how much harder is it for us to trust in a God we cannot see or touch?

We cannot trust someone we don’t know, and that is the secret of learning to trust God. When someone says, “Trust me,” we have one of two reactions. Either we can say, “Yes, I’ll trust you,” or we can say, “Why should I?” In God’s case, trusting Him naturally follows when we understand why we should. I've learned that most of the time that trouble comes, God wants to sharpen us, mold us, and transform us into something greater. He wants us to see a side of himself that we haven't yet seen.

In other words, when you feel like giving up and you are completely overwhelmed, remember that
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1).

My invitation todsy is that you learn to trust God when the pain seems pointless.

Blessings

Ministry at the time of Coronavirus (Covid 19): Prevent, cure and accompany

Now we have to shape what some have started calling; The Church at Home. Although I keep asking myself; What do those who do not have a home do? For this reason, at the same time, I am declaring today in our Holyrood Church a Lenten day of prayer, fasting and reading the Bible in the Time of the Coronavirus.
