The Repetance

Tomorrow it is our Second Sunday of Advent and during the sermon we will make a reflection and I will be arguing that in order to unite opposite people, true repentance is needed if we want to get along. I am in search of that true repentance; what about you?

In the Advent Crown, the Second Candle, the Bethlehem Candle, is the Candle of Preparation. God kept his promise of a Savior who would be born in Bethlehem. Preparation means to “get ready”.  Are we ready for true repentance?

Likewise, we continue with our Campaign of Prayer and Fasting and we will intensify it ‪on Monday, December 9‬ when our Vestry, Bishop Mary, Canon Victor and I, will sit at the humanhood table to build a process of reconciliation and peace with justice that continues to revitalize our church. We need to learn how to get along. Pray for us.

Blessings

Ministry at the time of Coronavirus (Covid 19): Prevent, cure and accompany

Now we have to shape what some have started calling; The Church at Home. Although I keep asking myself; What do those who do not have a home do? For this reason, at the same time, I am declaring today in our Holyrood Church a Lenten day of prayer, fasting and reading the Bible in the Time of the Coronavirus.
