The teaching of Jesus is straight from his heart, from his relationship with God

Today Jesus is calling us just as He called His first apostles.

Today’s feast is telling us that for God there are no foreigners, no outsiders.

Reading: After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” Matthew 2:1-2.

Good morning, happy Thursday, and many blessings my dear family.

Today Jesus is asking us: “what are we looking for?”

Reading: The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!” When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, “What do you want?” John 1:35-38.

Good morning, happy Tuesday, and many blessings, y dear family.

God never said that the journey would be easy, but He did say that the arrival would be worthwhile.

Jesus was also an undocumented immigrant in a foreign land.

Reading: When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.” Matthew 2:13.

Ministry at the time of Coronavirus (Covid 19): Prevent, cure and accompany

For this reason, at the same time, I am declaring today in our Holyrood Church a Lenten day of prayer, fasting and reading the Bible in the Time of the Coronavirus.
