God is speaking to you, listen to his voice.

Good morning, happy Wednesday, and many blessings.

God calls us to love our enemies

Good morning, happy Tuesday, and many blessings.

Today let's try, not only to understand what Jesus is telling us in Matthew 5:43-48, regarding loving our enemies. But also, how we can apply this teaching to our own lives. How does God want to use these words in your life this morning? Or we might say, how does He want to speak to you through this passage?

Loving revenge

Good morning, happy Monday, and many blessings.

If I need to find a title for today’s Gospel, Matthew 5:38-42, I will go for: Jesus’ rule for revenge. Here Jesus draws their attention back to the Old Testament Principle of retribution that can be found in Exodus 21:22-27, Leviticus 19:18, Deuteronomy 19:15-21.

Let us be upright people

Good morning, happy Saturday, and many blessings

Repentance

Good morning, happy Friday, and many blessings.

The Gospel of Matthew 5: 27-32 teaches us that the reason why we do not have a close relationship with our Creator is because we do not know how to repent in a God-fearing manner.

God provides us with what we need.

Good morning, happy Thursday, and many blessings.

Today’s Gospel, Matthew 10:7-13, speaks about the teachings of Jesus to the disciples on how to announce the Good News of the Kingdom to “the lost sheep of Israel” (Mt 10:6).

Love is the most important commandment

Good morning, happy Wednesday, and many blessings.

In today’s Gospel, Matthew ‪5:17-19‬, Jesus seems very supportive of the Jewish law, but the early Christians, like St. Paul, felt free to break away from many Jewish teachings. What is God saying to me here? Jesus was very conscious of the spiritual harm we can do to other people, especially young people, by bad example or ill-advised advice. Do I think before I speak on spiritual matters?

Humility and Obedience

Good morning, happy Tuesday, and many blessings.

A call to action

Good morning, happy Monday and many blessings.

Ministry at the time of Coronavirus (Covid 19): Prevent, cure and accompany

Now we have to shape what some have started calling; The Church at Home. Although I keep asking myself; What do those who do not have a home do? For this reason, at the same time, I am declaring today in our Holyrood Church a Lenten day of prayer, fasting and reading the Bible in the Time of the Coronavirus.
