The fundamental food

Stay focused on yourself, before judging.

Good morning, happy Thursday, and blessings.

On the list of frustrating things, heavy traffic ranks pretty high. And drivers who don’t signal, don’t look, won’t move over, cut people off, speed, tailgate, go too slow, or drive incredibly noisy or incredibly large vehicles rank among the world’s most frustrating people.

Jesus the food of the Soul of the human being

Good morning, happy Wednesday and blessings.

In today’s Gospel (John 6;35-40) we see three of our Lord Jesus Christ's great sayings are strung together, like pearls, in this passage. Each of them ought to be precious to every true Christian. All taken together, they form a mine of truth, into which he that searches need never search in vain.

Breaking and sharing the bread

Good morning, happy Tuesday, and blessings.   In today’s gospel (John 6:30-35) Jesus tell us; I AM” …the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”   Few questions come to my mind: What does it mean that Christ is the bread of life? What do people all over the world spend most of their time and energy doing? What are the barest necessities of life?

Why do you follow Jesus today?

Good morning and happy Monday and blessings.

Peace and confidence in the midst of the storm

The miracle arises when we share.

Good morning, happy Friday, and many blessings.

Selfishness is a barrier to walk with Jesus.

Good morning, happy Thursday, and blessings.

The disciples of John the Baptist came to him and reported that (John 3:26) "all are coming to Him [Jesus]." The comments by the disciples imply that they were unhappy with this. John the Baptist used the occasion to exalt Christ and to once again clarify that he was not the Christ. The Baptist declared (John 2:30), "He [Jesus] must increase, but I must decrease." This event gave rise to the words of our text.

Make the right decision

Good morning, happy Tuesday, and many blessings.

Ministry at the time of Coronavirus (Covid 19): Prevent, cure and accompany

Now we have to shape what some have started calling; The Church at Home. Although I keep asking myself; What do those who do not have a home do? For this reason, at the same time, I am declaring today in our Holyrood Church a Lenten day of prayer, fasting and reading the Bible in the Time of the Coronavirus.
