National Day of Vigil

Tomorrow Friday is the national day of vigil and protest against the inhumane treatment received by our brothers and sisters at the border.

As you all know, our government is keeping migrant children in cages, separating them from their families, denying them access to medical care, and using the separation of families as a threat to asylum seekers and refugees. It’s hard to know how to resist but there is a way you can this Friday night.

Our sister Lutheran Church on 187th Street and Bennett, along with other groups and churches (including Holyrood) will have a candlelight vigil (lead) Our sister Lutheran Church on 187th Street and Bennett, along with other groups and churches (including Santa Cruz) will have a candlelight vigil (lead) from 7:00 pm onwards at Fort Tryon Park, Billings Lawn.
