Por esto a la misma vez, estoy declarando desde hoy en nuestra Iglesia Santa Cruz una jornada de cuaresma de oración, ayuno y leer la Biblia en el Tiempo del Coronavirus.

June arrived, and this month also comes, among many things, the celebration of LGBTQ pride. Let's be clear, this is not a party, it's not a carnival either. This, my dear family, is asociopolitical and religious struggle for visibility and equality, which was and continues to be a great concern for our brother and companion Jesus.
It seems to me that the foundation of the whole message of Jesus continues to be grounded in the practice of love. This is strongly reflected in the words of the Apostle Paul in the first letter to the Corinthians 13 when he makes it clear that, without love, the most precious thing of the human being is reduced to nothingness; because love is what prepares us to perform all our duties to God and to
humanity.
What is love according to the Bible? In the book of I Corinthians 13: 4-6 it says: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
This is why the Bible condemns all kinds of abuse and exploitation towards humanity and towards the rest of creation. But it is also in this context that we must understand that the Bible condemns same-sex abuse but not the committed, loving, consecrated same-sex relationships. This is why it is correct to say that same-sex marriage also meets God's approval.
Unfortunately, some churches have erroneously developed a heterosexist theology that has nothing to do with God's plan of love for humanity. Heterosexism limits the expression of love validating only desire and attraction towards people of the opposite sex. Curiously, this term began to be used as a term analogous to sexism and racism, describing an ideological system that denies, denigrates and stigmatizes any form of behavior, identity, relationship or community that is not heterosexual. Hence the need to identify, condemn and combat the capital sin of heterosexism.
